Clinical Care Technician - Post Intensive Care Unit-II - Part Time Night

At RWJBarnabas Health, Clinical Care Technicians are integral members of a collaborative nursing team, dedicated to improving patient experiences through clinical excellence and compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily needs such as vital signs, mobility, and personal care
• Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature
• Perform phlebotomy and other bedside care tasks
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers
• Provide basic life support skills such as CPR in emergency situations
• Support the overall care plan for patients from admission to discharge

Requirements

• A High School Diploma / GED
• A current American Heart Association BLS certification
• Previous nursing assistant experience or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program is preferred
• A CNA certificate is also preferred

Skills

• Basic life support (BLS) certification

Pay

The pay range for this position is $21.04 - $26.19 per hour.

Schedule

This role is available on a night shift.
