Responsibilities
- Direct patient caregiver who assists patients with activities of daily living and provides nursing care to patients including phlebotomy and EKGs.
- Provide patient care based on physical, educational, safety, and related criteria appropriate to the age of the patients in assigned service.
- Ensure effective and safe patient outcomes through practice, judgment, and critical actions.
- Ongoing communication with patients and nursing colleagues regarding the status of patient’s care.
- Participate in collaboration on the patient's plan of care from admission to discharge to ensure safe transitioning.
- Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- BLS (American Heart Association) required.
Qualifications
- Previous nursing assistant experience or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program preferred.
- Certified nursing assistant preferred.
Pay
The anticipated hourly wage range for this position is $20.57 - $25.81 per hour if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills, and professional experience.
