RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Clinical Care Technician for Community Medical Center, a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital in Toms River, NJ. Community Medical Center is Ocean County’s largest and most active health care facility, serving over 21,500 inpatients, 178,000 outpatients, and 73,700 emergency department patients annually.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide nursing care, including phlebotomy and EKGs.
• Deliver patient care based on physical, educational, safety, and age-specific criteria.
• Ensure effective and safe patient outcomes through practice, judgment, and critical actions.
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients and nursing colleagues regarding patient status.
• Collaborate on the patient’s plan of care from admission to discharge to ensure safe transitions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (American Heart Association).

Qualifications

Preferred:

• Previous nursing assistant experience or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.

Pay

$21.04 – $26.19 per hour. The compensation offered will depend on the candidate’s educational background, skills, and professional experience.
