Clinical Care Partner

What You'll Do

• Assist in the coordination and delivery of patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians
• Supporting rooming, vital signs, and patient preparation
• Maintaining a safe and clean care environment

Requirements

• While CNA I and CNA II professionals can work under the license of a physician or advanced practice provider (APP), per North Carolina Board of Nursing requirements, they must:
• Complete a minimum of 8 hours every 24 months of direct supervision by a registered nurse (RN) employed at the clinic
• Or make arrangements to complete this requirement at a sister Novant Health Medical Group (NHMG) clinic location

What We're Looking For

• Education: High School or GED required. Experience: Two years preferred.
• Acute experience for CNA 1: One year preferred - CNA2 or EMT
• One year preferred - Experience in healthcare setting or Physician Assistant or medical school student enrolled in an accredited program or gap year.
• Licensure/Certification: (required): NA I in good standing within the NA registry; OR NA II in good standing with NA II certification with required state; OREMT current credential in appropriate state; OROne year clinical (medical) office experience; OR Physician Assistant or Medical School student enrolled in accredited program or in gap year
• Additional Skills/Requirements (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department specific skills validation and competency testing. Basic computer skills for documentation
