Clinical Care Leader - RN - Children's Southwest Clinic
Job Summary
The Registered Nurse in the Clinical Care Leader (CCL) role facilitates health care services for patients in cooperation with the health care team. Demonstrates strong clinical reasoning and critical thinking skills to analyze data and appropriately respond to changing situations. Effective communication skills to collaborate, negotiate, and resolve conflicts, situations, and/or issues with peers, inter-professional colleagues, patients and families. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, clinical support staff and the public. Serves as a mentor to staff while assisting in facilitating the over-all clinic activities. Participates and may serve in leadership roles on department/organizational tasks forces and committees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing strongly preferred
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program, including, but not limited to, those accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Minimum Of Two Years’ Clinical Experience
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Functions within the legal scope of practice

About the Role
We are looking for a Clinical Care Leader to work in our Children's Primary Care Clinic. This is a leadership role within the team and is responsible for schedule creation, rounding with staff, monthly staff meetings, assisting staff and patients with questions as well as collaborating with other Pediatrics leaders at other locations. This position is a mixture of administrative and patient care work. The Nurse Manager and other Clinical Care Leaders are also based within our Southwest Clinic which allows for high levels of communication and collaboration.

Schedule
Schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Pay
Salary Range: $32.00 - $48.00
