Clinical Associate, Urologist

About the role

The appointee shall provide services as a General Urologist at Columbia Memorial Hospital in Astoria, OR. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the background, focus, and drive to excel, as well as the ability to provide excellent clinical care to patients at a community hospital.

Responsibilities

• Treats all patients, research subjects, trainees and co-workers with dignity and respect.
• Delivers professional performance in compliance with relevant regulating bodies (DNV, CMS, OHSU IRB, NIH).
• Manages patients with urologic conditions using minimally invasive, robotic, and open surgical techniques.
• Engages in scholarly research activity directed towards improving understanding of diseases.
• Might participate in public service through consultative activities with OHSU and non-university groups.

Requirements

• Doctorate in medicine (MD) and postdoctoral training.
• Board certified/board-eligible Urologist.
• Current license and certification with the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners, DEA certification, and CPR/PALS certification.
• Satisfactory record of accomplishment in teaching, scholarship, and service.
• Trained and experienced in managing patients with urologic conditions.

Qualifications

Pay

The pay range for this position is $X per hour - $Y per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
