Responsibilities

• Perform approved activities related to direct patient care under the direction of a Nurse Manager/Assistant Nurse Manager.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Perform and document vital signs, intake & output (I&O), rounding, and turn schedules while optimizing patient mobility and skin integrity.
• Assist with patient transfers to a bed, wheelchair, or stretcher using patient care equipment safely as needed.
• Perform and maintain competencies related to EKGs, glucose testing, and phlebotomy.
• Answer call bells promptly and participate in customer service activities.
• Document in the Electronic Medical Records.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One (1) year of experience as a Nurse's Aide in a hospital environment is preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Pay

USD $27.03 per hour. This rate does not include differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable. Employees are also eligible for a generous benefits package, tuition assistance, and a defined benefit pension plan.
