About the role

The Clinical Assistant Professor of Behavioral Sciences position will be in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. This position is actively involved in teaching medical students and residents, as well as providing outpatient psychological services through the OSU Physicians Clinic system. Appropriate effort and activity in clinical research and service will also be necessary as well as a clinical record of sufficient depth to qualify for faculty appointment at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor. The position will work with existing Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences faculty.

Responsibilities

• Teaching medical students and residents
• Providing outpatient psychological services through the OSU Physicians Clinic system
• Engaging in clinical research and service

Requirements

• Ph.D./Ed.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology or related field (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
• Active license in the State of Oklahoma as a health services psychologist
• Valid Driver's License

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm with occasional evenings and weekends.
