Clinical Assistant Professor (Open Rank) - Exercise Physiology

Duties And Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in statistics, sport analytics, and/or sport science.
• Deliver a student-centered learning experience integrating statistical theory, data analysis, and applied sport science with real-world practice.
• Maintain a curriculum aligned with relevant accrediting standards, including those of the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs and the National Strength and Conditioning Association, where applicable.
• Support and contribute to undergraduate and graduate program leadership, advising and mentoring students, and collaborating with community and industry partners.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Statistics, Sports Analytics, Sport Science, or a related field.
• Successful teaching experience in at least one of the following content areas: statistics, sport science/sport analytics, athlete monitoring and data management.
• Experience with statistical software and data analysis tools relevant to sport science (e.g., R, Python, SPSS, or similar).
• Ability to work well and ethically with colleagues.
• Interest in working in partnership with the university and communities in diverse settings.
