Clinical Assistant / Associate Professor of Law and Director of the Domestic Violence Law Clinic

About the role

The successful candidate will oversee and/or conduct all phases of legal services for Domestic Violence Clinic clients, teach and supervise law clinic students, and manage other law clinic staff.

• Oversee and/or conduct all phases of legal services for Domestic Violence Clinic clients
• Teach and supervise law clinic students
• Manage other law clinic staff

Requirements

• Outstanding academic credentials, including a J.D. from an accredited law school or an equivalent degree (such as a Ph.D. in a related field)
• Member of the Alabama Bar or willing to apply for membership within a reasonable time of beginning the position
• Experience in clinical legal education and writing/publishing legal scholarship
• Experience in family law, domestic relations, and domestic violence law practice

• Doctorate in a related field
