Clinical Affairs Director

About the role

The Clinical Affairs Director will lead the development and execution of clinical strategies that support the commercialization of new products. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of clinical research, and the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement clinical strategies aligned with business objectives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including medical affairs, regulatory affairs, and sales to ensure alignment on clinical programs
• Oversee clinical trial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and ethical guidelines
• Manage relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare providers to build and maintain strategic partnerships
• Conduct regular reviews of clinical data to inform product development and commercialization plans
• Prepare and present clinical program updates to senior management and external stakeholders

Requirements

• A PhD in a relevant field or equivalent experience
• At least 10 years of experience in clinical research or related field
• Proven track record of successfully managing clinical trials and regulatory submissions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of clinical research protocols and regulatory requirements
• Experience with clinical trial management systems (CTMS)
• Fluency in English
