About the role
The Clinical Affairs Director will lead the development and execution of clinical strategies that support the commercialization of new products. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of clinical research, and the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement clinical strategies aligned with business objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including medical affairs, regulatory affairs, and sales to ensure alignment on clinical programs
- Oversee clinical trial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and ethical guidelines
- Manage relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare providers to build and maintain strategic partnerships
- Conduct regular reviews of clinical data to inform product development and commercialization plans
- Prepare and present clinical program updates to senior management and external stakeholders
Requirements
- A PhD in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- At least 10 years of experience in clinical research or related field
- Proven track record of successfully managing clinical trials and regulatory submissions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of clinical research protocols and regulatory requirements
- Experience with clinical trial management systems (CTMS)
- Fluency in English
