Clinical Advisory Committee Member – Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Essential Responsibilities

  • Attend the annual Clinical Advisory Committee meeting.
  • Provide professional insight regarding speech-language pathology services within the home health setting.
  • Review agency quality indicators, patient safety initiatives, patient experience data, and performance improvement activities.
  • Offer recommendations to enhance clinical outcomes, interdisciplinary collaboration, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
  • Support the agency's Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) Program through professional clinical consultation.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, rehabilitation professionals, and agency leadership to advance high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

  • Current, unrestricted Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist license in good standing.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience.
  • Home health experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Medicare Conditions of Participation and home health quality standards is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills.
  • Passion for quality improvement and patient-centered care.

Honorarium: $500 honorarium provided upon attendance and participation in the annual Clinical Advisory Committee meeting.

Time Commitment

One annual committee meeting (approximately 60-90 minutes) Meeting held virtually or in person, as scheduled Brief review of committee materials prior to the meeting
