About the role

Cogent Biosciences is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our dynamic team. This position will contribute to the development of precision therapies for genetically defined diseases, particularly focusing on the advancement of bezuclastinib and other targeted therapies.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the research and development of novel targeted therapies for genetically driven diseases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute experiments aimed at understanding the biology of genetic mutations.
• Support the analysis and interpretation of data to guide therapeutic development decisions.
• Prepare and present scientific findings at internal and external meetings.

Requirements

• A PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant research experience in a laboratory setting.
• Experience with molecular biology techniques such as PCR, sequencing, and protein expression.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Pay
