About the role

Responsible for timely and accurate documentation of provider’s encounter with patients during the visit. Completes follow up tasks from patient visits (referrals, patient messages, etc). Must have good listening and typing skills while being unobtrusive and attentive. Must be familiar with computer systems and medical terminology. Supports other staff members as necessary to ensure efficient operation of the clinic.

• Supports other staff members as necessary to ensure efficient operation of the clinic.

Requirements

• HS Diploma and/or GED or Certificate and/or Registry from an accredited institution.
• Must be able to provide documentation of certification and/or registry.
• Minimum 2 years experience as Medical Assistant preferred in a clinical setting and/or equivalent.
• Electronic Health Record experience preferred.
• Lab, EKG, and X-ray experience preferred.

Benefits

This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
