About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) at the Journey Clinic provides comprehensive, patient‑centered nursing care in an ambulatory setting, addressing physical, emotional, and spiritual needs across the lifespan. The RN utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, including telehealth and electronic encounters, and collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure quality outcomes. This on‑site position emphasizes fostering an inclusive, respectful environment focused on improving patient health and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care across the continuum, ensuring seamless transitions and follow‑up.
• Adhere to professional nursing standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
• Support clinicians by providing nursing expertise, education, and assistance during patient encounters.
• Utilize telehealth and electronic health record systems to document care and communicate with the care team.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety.

Requirements

• Accredited nursing education (Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing).
• Active Washington State RN license.
• Professional nursing experience in an ambulatory or similar setting.
