Responsibilities

• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients.
• Provide telephone advice to patients on health concerns and disease prevention under the direction of providers.
• Perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, sending and requesting medical records, and completing prior authorizations and referral requests.
• Carry out clinical duties including taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, collecting laboratory samples and performing tests, administering medications and immunizations.

Requirements

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or NLN‑approved program.
• Experience: Six months of prior experience as a Registered Nurse, or prior experience as a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse in an outpatient or ambulatory clinic setting.
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current Registered Nurse License active in the state of Missouri.
