About the role
The Medical Clinic Nurse provides patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. They assist in patient education and serve as a bridge between medical providers and patients.
Responsibilities
- Assists in patient teaching
- Responds to a high volume of phone calls daily
- Meets the needs of patients with scheduled appointments
- Works directly with a primary care physician
- May be oriented to work in the Medical Clinic or Specialty Clinic
Requirements
- RN licensure
Qualifications
- Full-time: 32 hours/week
- Work schedule: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Primary Clinic: Monday & Wednesday, Tuesday Triage, and every Friday
- Hospers lab training will be provided
- Saturday rotation for lab draws included in training
- Schedule may vary based on provider availability
