Primary Responsibilities

• Manage the patient care process by ensuring a comprehensive patient assessment and plan of care is completed and documented for all patients within the established policy time frame.
• May manage staff members, assess patient needs, delegate tasks, and support staff with duties as needed.
• Establish collaborative relationships with members of the healthcare team and facilitate the generation of ideas for improvement of patient care and support of clinic staff.
• Adhere to regulatory and organizational policies and procedures to ensure compliance and patient safety.
• Participate in and attend departmental meetings and professional development activities.
• Demonstrate quality improvement initiatives, facilitating ideas to enhance patient care and unit functioning.
• Complete basic RN competencies, including in‑person and phone triage, nurse book, I & R testing, and department‑specific competencies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
• Valid NM RN license, a valid multi‑state compact license, or eligibility for licensure by examination.
• Current BLS certification.
• 1+ years of nursing experience.
• Proven ability to maintain strict patient confidentiality.
• Management skills with solid organization and problem‑solving abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a team setting.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.

Pay

The hourly pay for this role ranges from $28.94 to $51.63 per hour based on full‑time employment. Compensation is determined by factors such as local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, and other relevant considerations.
