About the role
The Clinical Research Coordinator II at Pulse Heart Institute is responsible for developing and implementing research project procedures that meet research objectives and ensure compliance with all aspects of Institution, FDA, and sponsor regulations.
Responsibilities
- Develops and continually assesses priorities to ensure projects are executed successfully and completed within required time frames to meet research objectives.
- Follows guidelines for identifying subject populations, completing forms, questionnaires, and clinic procedures for collecting and summarizing observations and data.
- Retrieves medication under the direction of a licensed health care practitioner; maintains and monitors drug accountability records.
- Prepares for and participates in study monitor visits.
- Documents study visits and procedures in a timely manner for accurate recordkeeping, including financial accrual, source document, and eCRF completion, etc.
- Identify and report all unanticipated and other adverse/serious adverse events, as well as protocol deviations, violations or exceptions.
- Modifies procedures for collecting and summarizing data.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in science, healthcare or other related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of clinical research experience within a healthcare setting serving as a coordinator independently managing late phase drug and device trials.
- Experience using electronic data capture software required; Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS).
- CPR required.
- Valid Washington State driver's license.

Exceptional experience may be granted for internal candidates with equivalent experience instead of the Bachelor's degree.

Pay and Benefits
Competitive salary range: $63,232.00 - $91,000.00 USD. Pay influenced by factors such as skill set, experience, and certifications.
