About the role

The Clinic Registration Rep I position is designed to be a main point of contact for patients in the clinic setting. The Clinic Registration Rep I will accurately collect and analyze all required demographic, insurance, financial and clinical data elements necessary to register and book patient appointments under close supervision. The incumbent is responsible for the provision of routine patient access activity to facilitate efficient operations, expeditious reimbursement and optimal consumer satisfaction and to promote teamwork. The incumbent is responsible to further the mission of Enloe Health, consistently demonstrate the core values of Enloe Health, and perform duties in accordance with regulatory compliance requirements and the Medical Center’s Code of Conduct.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a main point of contact for patients in the clinic setting
• Accurately collect and analyze required demographic, insurance, financial, and clinical data elements
• Register and book patient appointments under close supervision
• Facilitate efficient operations, expeditious reimbursement, and optimal consumer satisfaction
• Promote teamwork and uphold the mission and core values of Enloe Health
• Perform duties in accordance with regulatory compliance requirements and the Medical Center’s Code of Conduct

Requirements

• Six months of customer service experience
• Previous medical office experience (desired)

Skills

• Ability to follow instructions and learn patient access workflow routines
• Work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer service and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office equipment
• Capable of fulfilling the essential functions of the position

Pay

Compensation Range: $19.76 - $26.68 per hour, based on applicable experience
