Responsibilities
- Perform clerical and reception duties, including answering telephones, preparing routine paperwork, completing forms, patient scheduling, data entry, and mailing list maintenance
- Assist with patient care activities and non-nursing tasks under the direct supervision of a registered nurse (RN)
- Support the mission, strategic plan, and performance improvement initiatives of Blessing Hospital
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Some college and/or clerical experience (preferred)
- Excellent typing skills and proficiency with Microsoft Word and other Microsoft Office applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology (preferred)
This is a non-exempt, hourly position.
