About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Clinic Nurse Supervisor to join our team at INTEGRIS Health Miami Hospital and INTEGRIS Health Grove Hospital in Miami, OK, and Grove, OK. This is a full-time, day-shift position.
Responsibilities
- Supervises nursing and other clinical staff, including hiring, promotions, performance evaluation, skills assessments, counseling, and disciplinary actions.
- Works annually with the clinic manager in the development of the clinic budget.
- Ensures clinical staff follows proper procedures for documentation and chart review for completeness and accuracy.
- Addresses complaints in a timely manner when related to nursing functions.
- Monitors and evaluates the clinical care provided by the nursing staff to all patients.
- Evaluates and communicates the need for quality improvement to the clinical staff.
- Responsible for all clinic management activities when the clinic manager is out of the office.
- Supervises and coordinates the delegation and implementation of patient care by licensed and non-licensed personnel for the assigned shift/area.
- Reports to the clinic manager.
This position may have additional or varied physical demands and/or respiratory fit test requirements. Potential for exposure to human specimens, urine, blood, body fluids/secretions, communicable diseases, and needles. Must follow standard precautions. Hazards include exposure to biological materials, which are handled with extreme caution using universal precautions.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state.
- BLS Certification.
- 1 year of work experience as an RN or LPN; experience with physician practice preferred.
