About the role
At CHI St Vincent Health, you will partner with a patient care team to deliver exceptional, compassionate care that truly makes a difference in patients' lives. You will collaborate on comprehensive screenings, conduct critical risk assessments, provide vital preventative health education, and expertly coordinate care for diverse patient populations, leveraging technology to streamline processes. You'll ensure patients feel informed and at ease, patiently guiding them through instructions and addressing their concerns.
Responsibilities
- Provides quality care to patients and their families as instructed by a physician.
- Provides and documents patient/family educational teachings as instructed by a physician, including patient/family understanding.
- Accurately and thoroughly documents physician orders regarding patient phone, following clinic policies and procedures.
- Provides appropriate care to patients in emergency situations as directed by a physician.
- Performs routine clinic procedures as directed by a physician.
- Administers medication accurately as directed by a physician.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Registered Nurse: AR, upon hire
- Basic Life Support - CPR, within 30 Days
