Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks.
- Handle appointment scheduling and chart management.
- Provide information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from clinic services.
- Convey a positive image of the organization.
Qualifications
- Minimum of six months experience in an urgent‑care, primary‑care physician practice setting, or direct patient‑care experience (preferred).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program and/or equivalent experience, or EMT license (preferred).
- Fluency in English.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association) required within 30 days of hire.
- Office Laboratory Assistant license from the State of Nevada required within 90 days of hire for positions outside of the Cardiology practices.
Schedule
Per Diem – Variable shift schedule.
