Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of assigned practice sites to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care and service delivery
- Serve as a liaison between practice physicians and office staff, as well as between the practice and other clinical and administrative departments
- Partner with physicians and leadership to develop and implement growth strategies and business plans
- Support financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and achievement of business goals
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels aligned with provider schedules and patient demand
- Auxiliary in the development and implementation of physician compensation structures as needed
- Oversee billing and collections processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Assist in the oversight of all aspects of practice operations, including services, policies, workflow optimization, staff development, and patient flow
- Lead staff relations efforts, including performance management, employee engagement, conflict resolution, and team development
- Oversee scheduling, recruitment, onboarding, and payroll processes
- Maintain budgets, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage contracts and vendor relationships
- Assess quality of care and coordinate patient services in collaboration with patients, staff, physicians, and external providers
Work Environment & Schedule
Split schedule between South Lyon and Southfield clinic locations (approximately 50/50)
Standard business hours with occasional flexibility based on operational needs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 3–5+ years of healthcare management experience, preferably in a clinic or residency setting
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience with budgeting, financial management, and operational planning
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, billing practices, and compliance standards
- Ability to manage multiple sites and adapt to varying operational needs
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and practice management software
