Clinic Manager-Residency Clinics- Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of assigned practice sites to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care and service delivery
  • Serve as a liaison between practice physicians and office staff, as well as between the practice and other clinical and administrative departments
  • Partner with physicians and leadership to develop and implement growth strategies and business plans
  • Support financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and achievement of business goals
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels aligned with provider schedules and patient demand
  • Auxiliary in the development and implementation of physician compensation structures as needed
  • Oversee billing and collections processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Assist in the oversight of all aspects of practice operations, including services, policies, workflow optimization, staff development, and patient flow
  • Lead staff relations efforts, including performance management, employee engagement, conflict resolution, and team development
  • Oversee scheduling, recruitment, onboarding, and payroll processes
  • Maintain budgets, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage contracts and vendor relationships
  • Assess quality of care and coordinate patient services in collaboration with patients, staff, physicians, and external providers

Work Environment & Schedule

Split schedule between South Lyon and Southfield clinic locations (approximately 50/50)

Standard business hours with occasional flexibility based on operational needs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 3–5+ years of healthcare management experience, preferably in a clinic or residency setting
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience with budgeting, financial management, and operational planning
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, billing practices, and compliance standards
  • Ability to manage multiple sites and adapt to varying operational needs
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and practice management software
