Clinic Manager
Responsibilities
Provides professional management to the operations of the Center for Family Health in support of medical care as directed by the Director of Operations, medical staff and pursuant to objectives and policies of the hospital. Coordinates patient care planning with other departments and centers as appropriate. Directly supervises Front Office Team Leader, Back Office Supervisor/Back Office, employees and subordinate supervisors in the Center for Family Health Clinic.
Plans, organizes and supervises the work of others to achieve organizational goals. Oversees Patient flow in the Center and creates staff assignments accordingly. Monitors budgetary items and prepares related reports. Prepares and or coordinates activities that help to improve operations and/or change service delivery. Reports safety concerns, incidents to Director of Operations. Responsible for ensuring productivity reports, statistics, notification forms and, patient charges are done. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Two (2) years Supervisory experience
- One (1) year medical office experience
- Preferred Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business or public administration, or related field
- Knowledge of insurance payers including Medi-Cal, Medicare and State funded program
- Working knowledge of regulatory requirements (Title 22, DNV and CMS)
- Practice Management Experience in a multidisciplinary delivery system
- Knowledge of ICD10 and CPT codes
- Bilingual in Spanish
