About the role
The LPN at Facility CoxHealth South is responsible for both administrative and clinical duties.
Responsibilities
- Answering phones and scheduling appointments
- Data entry in medical records
- Making and recording vital signs
- Collecting and reviewing patient medical information
- Preparing patients for examinations
- Cleaning and restocking examination rooms and equipment
- Administering medications as prescribed by physicians
- Performing other duties as directed by the department
Requirements
- Graduate of an state board accredited practical nursing program
- Previous nursing experience, especially in outpatient or ambulatory clinic settings preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficient in computer skills
Qualifications
- Required: Current License Practical Nurse or Graduate Practical Nurse active in the state of Missouri
- Prior IV certification in State of Missouri preferred
