Clinic LPN

Job Summary

As a Clinic LPN at CHI St. Alexius Health Williston, you will work with the RN and provider to utilize the nursing process to identify patient needs and priorities of care through assessment and planning of care based on delegated tasks, patient needs, therapeutic interventions, and evaluation of the patient's response.

Responsibilities

• Work with the RN and provider to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate delegated tasks and therapeutic interventions using the nursing process.
• Collaborate effectively with the RN and provider to ensure patient care is delivered safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with established standards and organizational values.
• Apply nursing skills to provide direct patient care, meticulously documenting observations, administering medications, and assisting with procedures.
• Aid in examinations, treatments, special tests, and routine procedures.
• Record vital signs, perform CPR, apply oxygen delivering systems, perform simple wound irrigation, apply direct pressure, and dress wounds.
• Prepare sterile fields for suturing and assist providers with treatments when appropriate.
• Apply restraints, clean medical equipment, prepare for sterilization, collect urine specimens, and perform phlebotomy.
• Provide patient and family education.

Required Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited college or technical school for Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN).
• North Dakota licensed practical nurse (LPN).
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support - CPR upon hire.
• Clinic LPN experience preferred.

Pay

$21.96 - $31.01 /hour
