The posted compensation range of $20.86 - $29.46 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
As our Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you’ll keep the day running smoothly and efficiently for your patients and clinical team. You’ll take the lead on proactive preparation of patient charts; ensuring all information is obtained and up-to-date for those seen in our facility. Every day, you'll manage care for multiple patients, adapting to physician availability on-site, and actively collaborate with your clinical team to prioritize tasks and ensure seamless patient flow throughout the clinic.

Responsibilities
- Performs general nursing care to patients by following established clinic workflows.
- Makes specific nursing care as it relates to specialty of the practice.
- Obtains patient consent for care and ensures patient confidentiality.
- Obtains and documents health history, information on chief complaint, vital signs, and health risk factors and assesses disease condition.
- Provides patient care based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and federal/state laws and regulations. Executes prescribed treatments and medical interventions, administers prescribed medications, and monitors and documents treatment progress and patient response. This includes but is not limited to preparing and administering injections, performing routine tests, treating wounds, and changing bandages. Refer to/consult with physicians, other health providers, and community resources to prevent/resolve problems or concerns.
- Educates patients and families about health status, health maintenance, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited school of practical nursing, upon hire and
- Licensed Practical Nurse: IA, upon hire and
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
Preferred
- 1 year related experience in a clinic, specialty clinic or acute hospital setting
