About the Role

ProActive Physical Therapy is offering a unique opportunity for a Physical Therapy Clinic Director at our therapist-owned and led outpatient clinic in Carlsbad. Earn a competitive base salary of up to $100,000 annually, depending on experience, with the opportunity to maximize earnings through a performance-based bonus program.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a CAPTE-approved Physical Therapy Program
  • Current state Physical Therapist license
  • Three to five years of clinical experience with a passion for healthcare leadership and small business development
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus but not required

Skills & Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Advanced computer skills (MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Proficiency in teaching EMR software systems
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills

Work Environment

  • Requires manual dexterity and general strength/endurance
  • Routine lifting (5–35 lbs), carrying (5–10 lbs), pushing (5–150 lbs), and sustained gripping (40–50 lbs)
  • Ability to guard and lift loads of 120–140 lbs
