About the role
As a Clinic Based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at Aviation ABA Therapy, you'll provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy to children in a vibrant, team-oriented clinic. You'll work under the supervision of a BCBA who is physically present and accessible, implement individualized treatment plans, and build meaningful skills with clients in a space purpose-built for therapy. This role is ideal for RBTs seeking a supportive, collaborative environment without the isolation of in-home work.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct 1:1 ABA therapy sessions in the clinic as directed by your supervising BCBA
- Implement skill-building programs using play-based and structured teaching methods (DTT, NET)
- Collect and record behavioral data electronically using tablets/iPads after each session
- Collaborate daily with fellow RBTs and your BCBA on client progress, session strategies, and problem-solving
- Participate in parent training sessions, team meetings, and generalization activities
- Assist with clinical assessments, materials preparation, and therapy session organization
- Follow individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and clinic safety protocols
- Maintain professional boundaries and uphold client confidentiality (HIPAA compliance)
- Step into lead therapist responsibilities when assigned
Requirements
- Active RBT certification required (or willingness to obtain certification with company support)
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); college coursework in psychology, education, or related field (preferred)
- Reliable transportation to the clinic location in South Salt Lake
- Ability to kneel, squat, sit on the floor, and lift up to 25 lbs
- Comfortable using tablets and iPads for electronic data collection
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Genuine passion for working with children with autism and developmental disabilities
- Eligible to work in the United States with a valid driver's license and insurance
Pay
$22–$27 per hour (based on experience)
