MedStar Health is looking for a Clinic Assistant to join their team at the Germantown Therapy location. They are seeking an organized, timely, detail-oriented, and friendly individual with strong customer service skills to interact with patients, including those from diverse ages and backgrounds.

Primary Duties

• Greets all patients professionally.
• Informs therapist of patient arrival and escorts patient as needed.
• Prepares treatment rooms and areas for evaluations and treatment.
• Is timely and punctual in addressing the needs and expectations of the therapists and patients.
• Aids in patient treatment as directed by therapist and/or provides coverage as needed.
• Assists with patient treatment under the close supervision of a therapist, including exercise programs, ambulation, transfer activities, balance activities, and preparations for a swallowing study.
• Routinely stocks the linen cabinets and maintains appropriate levels of linen.
• Empties dirty linen hampers as indicated or as requested by supervisor.
• Maintains all clinical supply par levels according to established levels.
• Aids in the ordering of new supplies as directed by their supervisor.
• Reports any broken or missing equipment to supervisor.
• Performs all administrative tasks as assigned.
• Prepares the schedule for the next day.
• Adheres to schedules to maintain efficient patient care delivery.
• Answers telephones as needed with the correct salutation and a smile in their voice.
• Completes other administrative assignments or duties as requested.
• Ants up to any potential safety issues.
• Recognizes the need for and requests professional assistance with patient's condition changes and communicates effectively with appropriate professionals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) through American Heart Association within 3 months of hire.

Pay

This position has a hiring range of USD $18.40 - USD $29.74 /Hr.
