Climate Solutions Sales Rep

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vertical Sales Rep for Climate Solutions at United Rentals. Our ideal candidate will leverage exceptional sales and consultative skills to identify and convert potential customers into loyal clients.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer needs and turn them into satisfied customers
• Use consultative sales techniques to close deals
• Negotiate contracts directly with customers
• Provide specialized solutions based on the technical features of Climate Solutions equipment
• Operate a forklift, lift gate, and box truck
• Provide equipment delivery, installation, and customer product training
• Handle on-call rotation for after-hour service and response

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in sales
• At least 2 years of sales experience in small A/C and heating rentals and related services
• Mechanically inclined and able to learn the technical features of Climate Solutions equipment
• Familiarity with Salesforce (SFDC) or other CRM software
• Ability to lift 45 pounds and operate a forklift, lift gate, and box truck
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
