Client Transportation Aide HCC

As a key member of the PruittHealth Coastal Central team, you will ensure our patients and residents receive safe, timely, and supportive transportation to appointments, therapies, and activities, while also providing hands-on CNA support.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients and residents to medical appointments, treatments, and approved outings
• Assist individuals entering and exiting vehicles using proper lifting, transfer, and mobility techniques
• Deliver hands-on CNA support including ADLs, personal care, and ambulation as needed
• Maintain a positive, welcoming, and caring environment during all transport interactions
• Complete transportation logs, mileage documentation, and schedules accurately and on time
• Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and safety for all transport vehicles
• Demonstrate adherence to infection control, safety regulations, and PruittHealth policies
• Partner closely with nursing and administrative teams to coordinate smooth transport operations

Requirements

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• High School diploma or GED
• CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record (Motor Vehicle Record required as part of pre-employment)

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in skilled nursing, senior living, home health, or patient transportation
• Familiarity with wheelchair lifts, securements, and mobility devices
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients safely
• Excellent communication and service skills
