About the role

The Mahoney Group, established in 1915, is a leading insurance agency with approximately 250 employees headquartered in Chandler, Arizona. We are currently seeking a Client Support professional to assist with new and renewal insurance business for Commercial Lines.

Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative support services to Client Managers as it relates to client needs.
  • Maintains and updates client files and records within the agency management system.
  • Prepares and/or processes policy related material such as correspondence, certificates of insurance, binders, ID cards, etc.
  • Prepares invoices and post payments.
  • Pulls and prepares loss runs, claims status reports, policy download information, expirations reports, etc.
  • Reviews and studies material to work towards obtaining insurance license.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned or required.
  • Attends and participates in internal meetings and completes required training.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
  • 3 years of workers compensation claims experience with carrier, agency, or employer.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Strong computer operating skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work, collaborate, and communicate with individuals at varying levels across the organization.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Responsive and self-motivated team player.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
