About the role

The families who select Alpha rely on trusted advisors across every area of their lives. This is the advisor they haven't had—until now. You will be the person they contact when uncertainty arises, when something doesn't feel right, or when they want to share a moment they know you will appreciate. Your familiarity with each family will enable you to sense their needs before they articulate them—and you will possess the judgment and poise to address what they bring with discretion, care, and seamless professionalism. Over time, you will become more than a contact at their child's school. You will become woven into how they experience this phase of their family's journey. That level of trust is not the result of a procedure. It is earned through presence—steady, daily, and unhurried.

You will be visible during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up, at evening gatherings that hold significance, and in private conversations that never appear on a schedule. You will cultivate a community that families feel invested in protecting, where membership feels natural and referrals arise because the experience merits them.

Alpha does not operate as a conventional school. Students complete core academic work in two hours per day using AI-driven applications, then dedicate remaining time to public speaking, critical reasoning, and real-world application. No traditional lectures. No unnecessary assignments. Top 1% outcomes nationally. The families who enroll are investing in something they value—but conviction requires ongoing stewardship. You will sustain that dialogue with every family, through every question, for the duration of their child's enrollment. If advocating for an unconventional approach to discerning skeptics feels burdensome, this position is not suitable. If it sounds like the most compelling dialogue you could be engaged in, continue reading.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the relationship with every enrolled family—the sustained, evolving connection that ensures parents feel recognized, not simply attended to
  • Identify concerns before they surface as issues, and address them with the discretion and interpersonal skill that preserves trust
  • Maintain visible presence where families gather: morning drop-off (7–9am), afternoon pick-up (2–4pm), evening parent gatherings, and select weekend events
  • Develop a campus culture with authentic depth—activities, rituals, and moments that help families feel part of something they value protecting
  • Encourage parent advocacy through organic means, delivering experiences so reliably excellent that referrals emerge naturally
  • Sustain the ongoing dialogue about Alpha's AI-driven model with families managing screen time questions, skeptical relatives, and occasional uncertainty—not only during enrollment, but across their entire campus tenure
  • Recognize when a family is not aligned and manage that transition with the same care you apply to all interactions—safeguarding the community is essential to serving it
  • Establish the structures and routines this position demands in a setting where the framework is still evolving

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Overseeing enrollment—that responsibility belongs to the Admissions Director; your work begins once families enroll and grows from that point
  • Operating from behind a desk—your presence within the community defines the role
  • Maintaining standard 9–5 schedules—early mornings, late afternoons, and evening commitments are integral, not occasional
  • Relying on administrative infrastructure, standardized processes, or a complete team—you function with significant autonomy and develop what is necessary
  • Approaching family relationships as transactional accounts—this role values authentic connection, not procedural adherence

Requirements

  • Currently live within commuting distance of one of these campuses OR willing to relocate within 60 days (preference given to candidates with established community ties): Denver, CO; Greenwich, CT; Boca Raton, FL; Tampa, FL; Boston, MA; Bethesda, MD; Charlotte, NC; Las Vegas, NV; Oklahoma City, OK; Tulsa, OK; Nashville, TN; Austin, TX; Dallas (Carrollton), TX; Fort Worth, TX; Houston (The Woodlands), TX; Park City, UT; Burlington, VT; Kirkland, WA; or Jackson Hole, WY
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • 5+ years in a relationship-focused capacity serving high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth families—private school admissions, luxury hospitality, philanthropic advising, or any context where discretion, warmth, and interpersonal fluency were equally important as competence
  • Proven capacity to sustain relationships through challenging moments with sophisticated families and maintain trust throughout
  • Authentic presence and communication approach that builds confidence rapidly with affluent, high-expectation families—natural rather than rehearsed
  • Direct familiarity with independent, private, or non-traditional education—through professional experience or as a parent—that provides genuine credibility when families question the approach
  • Sincere conviction in AI-powered education and the capacity to convey that belief authentically throughout years of parent relationships, not solely during enrollment discussions
  • Flexibility for non-standard hours: early mornings (7–9am), late afternoons (2–4pm), evening functions 2–3x monthly, and occasional weekend commitments

Nice-to-have Requirements

Outstanding candidates will possess at least one of the following:

  • Established connections within the local affluent community that would provide an immediate, organic entry point on campus
  • Private school or independent school background with demonstrated success in family retention and community building—beyond enrollment metrics
  • Experience managing high-stakes family dynamics where your judgment and discretion were the foundation of sustained trust
  • A natural ability to design experiences—gatherings, moments, settings—where individuals feel they belong to something meaningful
  • Prior startup or early-stage involvement where you built from the ground up and maintained composure amid rapid change
