About the role
The Client Success Director at Alpha is responsible for building and maintaining strong, trusting relationships with families of enrolled students. This role requires a deep understanding of the Alpha educational model and the ability to navigate complex family dynamics with discretion and care.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the relationship with every enrolled family, ensuring they feel recognized and valued.
- Identify concerns before they surface and address them with discretion and interpersonal skill, preserving trust.
- Maintain visible presence at key times: morning drop-off, afternoon pick-up, evening gatherings, and select weekend events.
- Cultivate a campus culture with authentic depth, activities, rituals, and moments that help families feel part of something they value protecting.
- Encourage parent advocacy through organic means, delivering experiences that are so reliable and excellent that referrals emerge naturally.
- Sustain the ongoing dialogue about Alpha's AI-driven model with families managing screen time questions, skeptical relatives, and occasional uncertainty.
- Recognize when a family is not aligned and manage that transition with the same care applied to all interactions, safeguarding the community.
- Establish the structures and routines necessary in a setting where the framework is still evolving.
Requirements
- Currently live within commuting distance of one of these campuses OR willing to relocate within 60 days (preference given to candidates with established community ties).
- Likewise, legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- 5+ years in a relationship-focused capacity serving high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth families.
- Proven capacity to sustain relationships through challenging moments with sophisticated families and maintain trust throughout.
- Athentic presence and communication approach that builds confidence rapidly with affluent, high-expectation families.
- Direct familiarity with independent, private, or non-traditional education.
- Sincere conviction in AI-powered education and the capacity to convey that belief authentically throughout years of parent relationships.
- Nice-to-have: Established connections within the local affluent community, private school or independent school background, experience managing high-stakes family dynamics, and prior startup or early-stage involvement.
Qualifications
- Must have a bachelor's degree.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including early mornings, late afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekends.

Benefits
- Competitive compensation package including a base salary of $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year.
