Client Specialist

What You'll Do

• Build relationships in and out of the organization, by providing general agency support and support to the agency's clients.
• Be the first point of contact for clients, handling their day-to-day questions, and other support services.
• Aid in the production of new accounts and the retention of existing accounts, and provide prompt, efficient, high-quality service to designated accounts in support of Producer activities.
• Conduct periodic service calls for designated accounts.
• Answer agency phone calls, order supplies, and conduct general office administration.
• Maintain a concern for timeliness and completeness when interacting with customers, agency, and company personnel to minimize potential for errors & omissions claims.
• Receive phone calls and office visitors requesting quotes.
• Actively solicit increases in limits and/or coverages or rounding out accounts through sales to clients at every service contact.
• Make minor policy changes for personal lines coverage as requested by the Agent.
• Absorb the everyday flow in the agency including emails, downloads, expiration notices and special projects.
• Actively seek referrals from current client base to solicit for new business prospects; follow up to generate new business using prospect database and automation system.
• Perform accounting and bookkeeping, as instructed by management.
• Perform other functions as assigned by management.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Active Property & Casualty license or willingness to obtain (materials and fees paid by Highstreet).
• Excellent communication skills both written and spoken.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• A high attention to detail.
• Quickly learn new technology.
• Team-oriented.
