Client Services Representative - Podiatry - Manahawkin

About the role

The Client Services Representative provides office support at the front desk within the Hospital, Ambulatory or Surgery Center setting. They ensure the timely and organized scheduling of patient appointments, patient insurance information, enter client information into the computer, and provide accurate financial information to clients.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments and manage patient insurance information
• Enter client information into the computer system
• Provide accurate financial information to clients
• Support organizational goals by providing quality customer service
• Participate in performance improvement efforts
• Demonstrate a commitment to teamwork and cooperation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-3 years office experience required, preferably in a medical setting
• Minimum 1 year insurance, CPT4 and ICD-10 coding experience preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
• Proficiency in Clinical Applications preferred at time of hire; incumbents within position will be trained appropriately and then skill will be required for this position within 30-60 days from date of hire
• Preferred: Specialty Certification - Acute Partial Hospitalization Program
• Required: American Heart Association BLS, American Heart Association Heart Saver First Aid (HSFA), CPI certifications within 90 days of hire or transfer

Reporting Relationship

This position reports to the Department Director, Manager or Nursing Leadership in other departments within the organization.
