Client Services Representative

Job Responsibilities

• Greet clients and determine their needs
• Complete check-in and check-out processes
• Schedule clients for treatment and vaccinations
• Help with client reminders for health assessments
• Pull and update patient charts
• Aid in filling prescriptions and providing instructions
• Perform over-the-counter sales and assist with product needs
• Invoice clients, collect fees, and manage credit charges
• Demonstrate basic emergency procedures and information
• Maintain the waiting room and reception area
• Prepare and send correspondence and informational packets
• Utilize PIMS procedures and functional applications

Skills And Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Prior client service experience in related area preferred
• Basic veterinary medical knowledge
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, e-mail, and practice management software experience preferred)
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking abilities

Compensation And Benefits

• Base hourly rate of $16-$18 pending previous experience
• Eligible for periodic bonus
