Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-3 years office experience required, preferably in a medical setting
- Minimum 1 year insurance, CPT4 and ICD-10 coding experience preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Proficiency in Clinical Applications preferred at time of hire; incumbents within position will be trained appropriately and then skill will be required for this position within 30-60 days from date of hire
- Preferred Specialty Certification: Acute Partial Hospitalization Program

Work Environment
Potential for exposure to the hazards and risk of the hospital environment, including exposure to infectious disease, hazardous substances, and potential injury. Periodic traveling to other department locations is expected.
Reporting Relationship
This position reports to the Department Director, Manager or Nursing Leadership in other departments within the organization.
