Position Description
We are looking for a Client Services Director to join our Industrial Commercial Energy group to drive business growth, strengthen client relationships, and expand the firm's presence within the Community Infrastructure market. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree, 15 or more years of industry experience, a strong professional network, and a proven ability to identify new opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and support successful project delivery. This individual will collaborate with technical and operational teams, contribute to revenue and strategic planning initiatives, mentor staff, and represent the firm within industry organizations while fostering long-term client success and maintaining a safe working environment.
Typical Responsibilities
- Lead strategic expansion efforts within the national data center and retail markets
- Grow Site Development services
- Identify and pursue opportunities in new geographic and industry markets
- Evaluate existing industry contacts and align relationships with strategic business objectives
- Build trust and credibility with current and prospective clients
- Develop and execute market penetration strategies that support revenue objectives
- Leverage professional networks to create new opportunities and strengthen market presence
- Collaborate with leadership to diversify service offerings
- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and professional organizations
- Support recruitment efforts through industry relationships and professional connections
- Provide client oversight and guidance as new accounts transition into active projects
- Partner with technical and operational teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging market opportunities
- Contribute to annual sales, revenue, and strategic planning initiatives
- Strong understanding of data center, retail, and site development markets
- Established professional network and industry presence
- Proven ability to identify, secure, and develop new business opportunities
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to cultivate executive-level and long-term client relationships
