About the Role
The Client Service Consultant II (CSCII) has overall accountability for the day-to-day administrative service support of multiple National Account clients (5,000+ lives). The CSC II is part of an account team focused on understanding customers’ needs and delivering group benefit products that meet those needs, along with a service experience that exceeds expectations and makes it easy for customers to do business with MetLife.
Responsibilities
- Manages day-to-day administration for multiple/complex clients; leads projects and serves as liaison with internal teams.
- Delivers exceptional client service, ensuring consistent satisfaction and effective solutions.
- Coordinates client meetings, prepares materials, and leads audits and strategic planning with financial partners.
- Acts as a subject matter expert; supports RFP responses and permits collaboration across teams.
- Maintains knowledge of legal agreements, industry trends, competitors, and MetLife products/services.
Requirements
- 2+ years relevant business experience.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; self-motivated with a proactive learning mindset.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to use approved AI tools to support routine tasks such as drafting, summarizing, organizing information, and improving day-to-day efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree; disability product experience preferred.
- Strong project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and balance client needs with business capabilities.
Pay
The expected salary range for this position is $74,500 - $99,300. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
