About the role
This position involves reviewing reports for accuracy, processing and balancing various transactions, verifying and checking back of work performed by others, completing maintenance, research, disputes, payment decisions, returns, and assisting with customer calls.
Responsibilities
- Verifying and checking back of work performed by others
- Completing maintenance, research, disputes, payment decisions, returns, etc.
- Aids in answering and solving customer questions and financial needs
- Supports internal customers by providing answers and support
- Performs corrections as needed for end of year tax records
- Supports the bank's debit card program
- Reviews end of the year deposit tax notices prior to mailing and assists customers with questions
- Communicates with department managers and staff personnel to address concerns, trends, and customer issues
Requirements
- Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Self-motivated, problem-solving, and detail-oriented
Education
An associate’s degree (AA) from a two-year college or technical school, or two or more years of related experience and/or training, is preferred. The equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
