About the role

The Client Service Vice President is a client-facing role, acting as the key contact point for our asset manager clients regarding:

  • Daily servicing of the account and SLA requirements
  • New services and/or changes to service and associated billing adjustments
  • Escalation of service issues and/or performance concerns
  • Coordinating standard KPI and service level meetings
  • Acting as the client’s sponsor when working with internal State Street teams
  • Query resolution
  • Periodic compliance processes including year-end coordination, AML reviews, and FTOP reviews

Positive engagement is critical. The role requires ownership and accountability to ensure a positive client experience, prompt query resolution, and clear timelines for all open items. Depending on client size, a Client Service Vice President may service a group of similar clients.

Responsibilities

  • Client Service Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as their primary point of contact.
  • Service Delivery Oversight: Ensure State Street’s services are delivered effectively and efficiently, meeting client requirements and expectations.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve client issues, escalate problems when necessary, and collaborate with internal teams to find solutions.
  • Client Communication: Proactively communicate service updates, market changes, and relevant information to clients.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to strategies that improve client satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of client service professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance management.

Pay

Salary range: $110,000 – $188,750 annually. The range applies to the primary location specified; if the candidate works outside this location, the applicable range may differ.
