Client Service Specialist, PC

About the role

We are looking to add a Client Service Specialist to join our Property Casualty team in Waukee, IA. Holmes Murphy offers a forward-thinking, innovative, and vibrant company culture, along with the opportunity to share your unique potential.

Responsibilities

• Prepares certificates, binders, and auto ID cards.
• Invoices agency bill transactions for new and renewal policies, monthly installments, endorsements, and audits.
• Ensures accuracy of invoicing and works with accounting to resolve any discrepancies.
• Orders policy changes from carriers, updates agency management system/exposure schedules, and sets follow-up tasks.
• Investigates and corrects omitted items and commission differences on premium discrepancies (policies, audits, and endorsements).

Requirements

• High school diploma; college degree preferred.
• Minimum 0-1 year of administrative, customer service, or office experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Active state-specific Property Casualty Insurance agent’s license required or the ability to acquire the license within three months of hire.

• Invests in understanding and applying insurance principles to consult with clients and meet their strategic needs.
• Actively contributes to workflows, processes, and deliverables using agency systems to provide a world-class client experience and ensure compliance.
• Able to understand clients, prioritize tasks, manage status, and deliver impactful solutions proactively.
