About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Client Service Specialist to join our growing team. As a Client Service Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism, efficiency, and a strong understanding of insurance products and services. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional service and support to both clients and internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for client inquiries via phone, email, or in person.
- Respond to inbound calls for new sales and post-sales service.
- Follow up with warm leads and provide email/chat support.
- Perform administrative tasks, including proofreading, research, and mailing.
- Handle miscellaneous tasks related to insurance agency operations.
- Undertake other assigned projects to contribute to team success.
- Maintain and update client records in agency management systems.
- Contribute to continuous process improvements in client service delivery.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service role, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Active Life, Accident & Health insurance license.
- Strong knowledge of insurance products, policies, and terminology.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and agency management software (e.g., Applied Epic, AMS360) preferred.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Bilingual (Spanish & English) preferred.
