As a Client Service Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting all administrative responsibilities for front desk support and provide practice management support for one or more advisors or leaders. Responsibilities
- General administrative duties: logging/distributing correspondence and check deposits, maintenance for office of supervisory jurisdiction and client files, office supply management (including maintenance of equipment), processing expense submissions-tracking-approvals, initiating maintenance requests, schedule wholesalers and support branch seminar series/events
- Reception support: answering phones during regular business hours, greeting clients and prospects
- Practice support: delivery of Ameriprise Client Experience for clients of one or more practices
- Scheduling client or prospect appointments
- Entering client data into various applications
- Supervising progress vs. practice goals
- Addressing client service requests
- Establishing new clients with Ameriprise, including introducing the digital experience
- Assisting advisor in preparation or follow-up to client or prospect meetings
- Supporting the practice's marketing programs (events, go-social, MOD, etc.)
Required Qualifications
- Associate (2-year) degree or equivalent
- 1-3 years relevant experience
- Able to maintain confidentiality, demonstrate professionalism, and operate under limited/minimal direction
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Ability to function in fast-paced environment, maintain operational quality, ability to balance multiple priorities
- Understanding of a financial advisor's practice
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Understanding of business basics (profitability, negotiation)
- Ability to work directly with clients to understand, resolve and detail any and all requests, informational updates and concerns
Schedule
Our employees work in the office at least four (4) days per week, with flexibility to work from home one (1) day per week. Some roles may require additional in-office time or different in-office expectations, and specific requirements will be discussed during the hiring process.
