Client Service Representative - Swing/Overnight

About the role

Neel Veterinary Hospital is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and customer-focused Swing/Overnight Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, quality customer care to patients and clients
• Process invoices and payments
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and obtain all necessary medical history
• Determine the status of the patient’s immunizations and tests
• Communicate with the doctor and technical staff on the patient’s arrival and necessary treatments
• Fill prescriptions, food requests, and over-the-counter products as instructed by a veterinarian
• Accurately input data into computer software

Qualifications

• Previous veterinary receptionist, veterinary client service, or veterinary hospital experience preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology is preferred
• Comfortable using computers and veterinary practice management software
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and compassionate during emergencies
• Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality
• Must be available to work swing and/or overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
