Responsibilities

• Engage clients during every interaction
• Perform practice administrative tasks such as record maintenance and appointment tracking
• Manage practice reception (visitor and telephone)
• Maintain veterinary medical records
• Process cash, checks, charge card payments, and credit account payments
• Schedule appointments for the clinic
• Auxiliary in updating client/patient files
• Prepare and send client correspondence
• Send reminder notices and conduct re-calls
• Perform a backup of the computer system
• Perform and oversee the performance of posting daily business
• Welcome clients and patients with a warm and friendly demeanor
• Answer incoming telephone calls and handle emergency situations

Requirements/Qualifications

• Ability to work on weekends as required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous veterinary experience preferred
• Client satisfaction references preferred
